HANSE HAUS build state-of-the-art Showhome at Fertighaus Welt, Cologne

HANSE HAUS have recently unveiled their latest state-of-the-art show home, constructed at Europe’s newest show home centre in Cologne, Germany.
 
Fertighaus Welt (literally translated as ‘Finished House World’, the German term for pre-fabrication) was established earlier this year and hosts all the major manufacturers from across Germany.
 
The HANSE show home was built with high levels of home and environmental technology and designed to have an overall energy requirement of just 40kw/m2/annum. This level of energy efficiency is achievable for the majority of HANSE builds (standard builds are around 60kw) in the UK and a staggering contrast to the current UK building Regulations requirement in which a new build property can have an energy requirement of 220kw/m2/annum!
