Comfort ventilation systems for your energy-saving home
How it works
The living space ventilation system does not have a heating function in the strictest sense but supplements the existing heating system in terms of home comfort and cost-efficiency.
To do this, efficient heat recovery techniques allow up to 95% of the residual heat to be extracted from outflowing air and added to the inflowing air. This preheated fresh air is then distributed to the individual rooms by means of a piping system with air outlets.
What you need to know
- Using living space ventilation relieves the burden on the primary heating system and less energy is required for heating.
- A comfort ventilation system can be combined with any heating system, apart from heat pumps that already have an integrated ventilation function.
- The system makes for a pleasant and fresh indoor climate and significantly increases home comfort. Windows can remain closed in winter, but be opened to air the house at warmer times of the year.
