HANSE HAUS – building homes since 1929

When master carpenter Hermann Wandke founded the HANSE HAUS company in Lübeck-Travemünde, Northern Germany in 1929, he could surely not have suspected that his small carpenters‘ workshop would one day grow into one of the top names in the prefabricated house industry. Through the ongoing development of the company and its innovative products, HANSE HAUS can today look back on over 80 years of experience in the  construction industry and more than 30,000 completed houses. With 300 permanent employees – some from their families‘ third generation of HANSE HAUS  workers – and more than 30 apprentices, the company has unrivalled knowhow in prefabricated house construction, thus making it possible for us to manufacture 1-2 houses every day at our workshops in Oberleichtersbach, Bavaria, ready for assembly across Europe.

Schörghuber Group - a strong and reliable partner for your construction needs

When choosing a construction partner, it pays to play it safe. HANSE HAUS is a subsidiary of the Schörghuber Group, which operates successfully in a number of fields of business in Germany and at international level. The four branches of the group -  property and construction, beverages, hotels and seafood – may be very different in terms of products and services, but they all share the aspiration to offer optimal service, higher levels of comfort, more innovative solutions and thus a better quality of life for our customers. For HANSE HAUS, this means capitalizing on synergies for the benefit of our customers and providing all-in-one offerings and even higher service levels than ever before. From title searches to moving in, we can offer it all as part of our service, whether you are in our domestic market of Germany or abroad.

The m.pire

One of the Schörghuber Group’s largest current projects is the m.pire in Munich. The first imposing landmark visible on the northern approach to the city, it is unmissable and unforgettable thanks to its unique combination of light, glitter and transparency. At the same time, it constitutes a modern emblem of sustainability and energy efficiency that the German Society for Sustainable Construction certified in advance with its Gold Seal of Approval.
